Today I got some "e-mail" in my mailbox that says I can make $50,000 in less than 90 days! Wow! I am very excited about this. I'm a bit suspicious because it looks a lot like a chain letter, but it did say that it wasn't a chain letter so it should be OK. I think the difference is that with a chain letter you aren't getting a product, but with this your "e-mailing" a report which is worth something by itself, so it's not a chain letter. It's caled multi-level marketing and they do it at Harvard. I'm going to send $20 tomorrow to get four of these reports. One of them will tell me how to "e-mail" to 2,000 more people and it tells how if even only .5% of them respond that will still be $50!

Holy cow. Today I had five "e-mails" in my mailbox about how to make a lot of money fast. This is perfect! I am going to follow up *every* lead and get as much as I can. I'm going to be a real go-getter this time.

I have to be very careful though, because I know there are rip-off artists. I am not going to get suckered by any of those! I'm going to keep scrupulous notes about addresses and everything. The one where you mail the programs and get $5 each was from Christopher Erickson, "e-mail" at cashflo@aol.com. (I am going to "e-mail" and ask if I can send a check--it said cash only, but you're not supposed to send money through the mail)

One of the "e-mails" was about a book called "Web Wealth," by Dr. Jeffrey Lant. It's about the basics of making money on the Web, so I think I should get it. For a person starting out it's a good idea to have some guides and tips. They only want $27.95 for it and it will be a good base for me. I'm going to ask if I can use a credit card, to show I'm respectable. The "e-mail" for this one is noreplies@email.com.

The Internet isn't perfect. I sent "e-mail" to Dr. Lant about using my credit card but it got returned to me. I pushed "R" for reply just like it said, and it said the "e-mail" was sent, but it still didn't work. I hope the Internet fixes their mail soon.
